The
screens offer a secure environment for casual dining, providing significant
protection from wind and external activity. The screen has the unique
ability to follow landscape contours to achieve irregular shapes, curves
and borders. The
screen has the option of low voltage lighting creating a more intimate
atmosphere for clients. Installation of the posts depends on paving with
all engineering specifications supplied for each site.

Internal
balustrades and apartment balconies offer a minimal design solution for
clients. Base plates, lighting options and glass all meet International
Standards. A recent development has been the ability to provide handrails
below the top of the glass line with superb fixing detailing.

The
flexiscreen system presents a great opportunity to enclose a swimming
pool with a screen that does not conflict with the views. We have designed
a self-closing pool gate which meets relevant International Standards
and provides security in keeping small children away from the pool.

 The
screens have been used in a number of ways for internal screening. Hotels
have used the screen to separate gaming areas from dining and bar facilities.
Graphics and laminated film have been used for the glass. A range of baseplate
fixing solutions are available. |

 The
Harkk screen system has been designed and engineered to meet all International
Standards. Engineering calculations have been completed for all windspeeds,
with independant certification for all Australian zones including cyclone
zones for Queensland and Northern Territory. The posts are extruded aluminium
offering numerous colour options with powdercoating. Cast caps, with or
without lights are polished and natural anodised. Any unusual installation
requirements can be designed in conjunction with our consultant engineer
or in association with the client's architect or engineer. An international
patent is pending for the glazing system. An ongoing design refinement and
product development program forms a significant part of the Harkk philosophy.
