
The Harkk Bifold window system uses the RECT 86 post and VOID rail as a balcony balustrade but incorporates an operable bi-fold window on the top so as to seal the balcony area from the cold or rain if required.

The bifold windows are a standard AWS design being top hung and fully stackable to the side. They are connected to the underside of the VOID rail by a patented 'C bracket' which also acts as a handle to open/close the bi-folds as the running tracks for the window are:
They tend to remain dirt and debris free and present a clean neat appearance.
The system is designed for normal balustrade loadings or wind pressures up to 3kPa.
The handrail is usually 1 to 1.2m above balcony level and the bifold windows above are to 1.5m high.
