Product Details

This balustrade system differentiates itself from others in that it has a rectangular post with sharp square corners and a rail which presents a pair of straight lines to the outside view.  This post and rail set is one of the strongest and is suitable for all Type C design loads to AS 1170.1 including the crowd load situation.

The rail, similar to the EDGE rails, has a groove on its underside which supports the top edge of the glass panel. This glass panel spans from the balcony slab to the rail.

The RECT 86 post is 86mm deep by 50mm wide. The rail is 103mm wide. The connection system from the rail to the post is housed in the same groove which supports the top of the glass.

The system includes end wall mounts for the VOID rail where it connects directly to a structural wall.

Fixing methods for the post include:

• a flat-bar spigot or round bar spigot cored, then epoxied into concrete
• a flat bar spigot welded to structural steel
• a baseplate fixing
